Flow Injection Analysis Cell- electrochemical detection - 66-CL010

Features            Includes

These cells can be used for static or flow experiments. For static, it is convenient to attach syringes for filling and removing the solution. For flow, Cypress offers a complete EC-FIA system or components to implement your own flow design. The cells are designed for use with Cypress’ PEEK working electrodes, having an outer diameter of 3.0 mm. You can readily interchange the working electrode (e.g., GC, Pt or Au). The "no-leak" 66-EE009 reference electrode with an outer diameter of 2.0 mm is provided and recommended.

66-CL010 All-Purpose Cell

The 66-CL010 is configured in a laminar flow-by mode past the working electrode with the auxiliary electrode located at the solution exit port. The outer cell dimension is 4.5 cm in diameter and 2.54 cm thick. The cell body is made from KYNAR to withstand a wide range of electrolytes and solvents. They are not recommended for use with strong acid or alkaline solutions.

Features:

Use of LC type connectors allow convenient fill/dump of solutions manually with a syringe or continuous solution flow with either a syringe or peristaltic pump.
Rapid interchange of working electrodes (e.g., 1.5 mm GC and 1.0 mm Pt or Au)
Body, connectors and tubing are KYNAR and PEEK for use with a wide range of solvents
Low internal volume of 5-8 µl, depending on the size of the gasket, smaller volumes can be provide on special order
Cypress' pulse dampener will smooth out when peristaltic pumps are used

Includes:

One 66-EE009 no-leak reference electrode
One counter electrode (stainless steel)
One working electrode [66-EE040 (1.5 mm GC), 66-EE041 (1.0 mm Pt) or 66-EE046 (1 mm Au)] is provided
The outer diameter of the PEEK sheathing is 3.0 mm. The electrode of choice should be specified at the time the cell is ordered.
· Two syringes, 2 short lengths of PEEK tubing, "O" rings for sealing the electrodes to the cell channel, and inset screws for cell assembly
